daily photo: ice on the spree

I know this isn’t strictly related to decorative arts, but I couldn’t resist posting this image. I got a new pocket camera for xmas that has a snazzy built-in panorama feature. It’s a Sony RX100 and I’m quite pleased with it.

These are some typical looking Berlin apartment houses that are in a particularly lovely location – they face the river and the Charlottenburg Palace and park. This day was spectacularly sunny, but cold and the Spree was full of ice.
